Here I stripped the paint with a Paint stripper, real easy but stinky and messy. There is tons of rust on the inside where there was undercoating. I will use POR-15 Metal Ready to treat the rust then use standard POR-15 to paint it.
First layer of ‘All Metal’  bondo, it seems to be pretty good stuff. Make sure it’s OK to do this in your garage because the dust is almost unbearable!
After stripping the paint to bare metal. You can’t see them, but there is dozens of little brown spots of rust, the paint was fairly decent and  didn’t show any signs of rust so I guess it was a matter of time. Also, I used lead to fill in that big dent.
Finished product ready for the self etching primer. I won’t primer until the door is on the car.
