I pressure washed the car... what a mess! I then used metal ready to convert the rust (you can see the white powder it leaves behind) then I used POR-15 silver. The silver version has a higher build then the regular POR-15. I used this because of the pitting the floor had. There was a few pin holes that I put fiberglass down along with the POR-15 to fix the holes. Believe it or not it’s stronger then steel when cured.
The next step is to use regular POR-15 on the underside of the dash and in the quarter panels and wheel wells. Once this is cured then I spray the lizard skin sound deadener and thermal barrier.
